– Chilli Jam

Experimenting with an alternative chicken which paid off very nicely. Superb combined with Stilton and chilli jam. The mozzarella adds a subtle and creamy edge (a smooth edge so to say).

I’ve realised there are two approaches to get a sandwich that isn’t too squished. Either make it small-ish (like the one yesterday or even small :-o) which obviously isn’t an ideal approach that will only limit your imagination; Or make it so big they can’t possibly fit it in a normal (triangular) box. The one two days ago achieved this and was delivered in a “jacket potato box” (like a kebab box) and this one today arrived in two separate regular boxes. The only problem with the one today was that a lot of the filling was quite loose and eating it was difficult (though fun and very tasty).

– Mango Chutney

Tried a slightly shorter recipe this time and when for a porky approach. It very good and a still large enough to make me slightly full 🙂

Very tasty again! First time I’ve gone for the feta option, but definitely not the last! Especially amazingly scrumptious together with the Sun-Blushed Tomatoes.

This one was amazing! Possibly the best so far. A beautiful harmony between the Stilton, the sun blushed tomatoes and the basil with the many meats and other fillings all adding their best to this wonderful dream sandwich. I can only recommend trying this at home!
